Rodney T. Hudspeth, Executive Chairman
Mr Hudspeth was appointed Executive Chairman of the Board in 1993. He brings extensive corporate and commercial experience to Takoradi, encompassing the Australian and global capital markets through which
he has successfully financed a number of diversified projects. His primary area of expertise is in the financial and commercial environment of the mineral resources, technology and telecommunications industry,
in which he has a strong track record in Australia and internationally. Over the past 25+ years, Mr Hudspeth has been involved with a number of successful mining companies encompassing exploration, economic
development and production. In 1981 Mr Hudspeth founded a successful ASX listed gold exploration, of which he was CEO until 1984. He went on to found a substantial gold producing company in 1986, and was
Chairman and Managing Director until 1991. He subsequently founded a United States based telecommunications company in 1996 and was Chairman and Chief Executive until 2001. Mr Hudspeth is Chairman of Nimrod
Metals Limited, a Bahamas-registered minerals exploration company associated with Takoradi's mineral development activities.
Mr Hudspeth holds a number of private directorships in addition to his role at Takoradi, including the position of Chairman of Notesan Pty Limited, a private investment company that is the major
shareholder in Takoradi.
Albert G. Harris, Executive Director
Mr Harris was appointed to the Takoradi Board in 1992. His management responsibilities have spanned a wide range of petroleum and mineral resource activities in Australia and overseas,
including oil and gas production, in addition to drilling and exploration operations. He has had management responsibility for the development of petroleum and mineral projects in Australia,
the Middle East, West Africa and the USA, and for extensive exploration operations in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Since 1980, Mr Harris has been involved in both gold and diamond resource
exploration and evaluation activities in West Africa. He has been a director of Australian public and private companies for over 30 years and is currently a director of the listed resource
companies Goldsearch Limited and PepinNini Limited.
Mr Harris is a member of the Institute of Measurement and Control (M. Inst. M.C.) and a Fellow of the Energy Institute (F.E.I.).
John S. McIntyre, Non-Executive Director
Mr McIntyre, a member of the Takoradi Board since 1993, is a qualified engineer with over 30 years' experience in the mining industry. In 1987 he formed his own company to act as an independent consultant
for the mining industry and has provided services and advice for projects in Australia, Ghana, the Philippines, New Zealand and Vietnam. Mr McIntyre is a Director of Behre Dolbear Australia Pty Ltd,
a subsidiary of Behre Dolbear and Company Inc. of the United States, an international mineral industry consultancy which has operated since 1911. He is also currently a Director of Eastern Corporation Limited.
Terrance V. Willsteed, Non-Executive Director
Mr Terence V. Willsteed has joined the Board of Takoradi this year. The Board welcomes Mr Willsteed’s extensive expertise and his potential contributions to Takoradi.
Terence Willsteed holds a Bachelor of Engineering [Mining] with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts. He is a Fellow of the Australasian of Mining and Metallurgy and a Registered Member of the Society of Mining
Engineers. Since 1973 he has been the principal of consulting mining engineers Terence Willsteed & Associates.
His 45 year plus career in the mining industry has included senior operational and engineering management positions with Zinc Corporation, Mt Isa Mines Limited and Consolidated Goldfields Australia Limited.
His recent public directorships include European Gas Limited, Austral Gold Limited, International Ferro Metals Limited, Citigold Corporation Limited, Vantage Goldfields Limited, Goldseach Limited, South
American Ferro Metals Ltd and Niuminco Group Limited. He was a director of Hampton. In his consulting experience, Mr Willsteed has been involved in the assessment and development of a wide range of mineral,
coal and oil shale projects, and has participated in the management of developing and operating mineral projects both in Australia and internationally.
